Tim Whiting is the Principal at Trinity Basin Preparatory Primary School in Fort Worth. Graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelors of Science in Education and a specialization in History, he started his career in education as a Social Studies teacher in Italy, Texas, and, after three years, moved to Mansfield, Texas to coach the Speech and Debate Team. Following five years as a debate coach, Mr. Whiting taught Social Studies for a year at a charter school in Dallas and then spent three years as a Speech and Theater Arts teacher for Arlington ISD. He is certified to teach secondary level Social Studies, Speech, and Theater, has completed an instructional coaches’ academy and an assistant principals’ academy, and has completed his Masters of Science in Training and Development from Texas A&M-Commerce. In 2010, Mr. Whiting joined Trinity Basin Preparatory, Inc. as an Upper School Teacher Trainer, and was the Vice Principal at the TBP Elementary School in Dallas before coming to Fort Worth.
Stacia Curry is the Vice Principal at Trinity Basin Preparatory in Fort Worth. She has been a teacher with Trinity Basin Preparatory for six years. The 2012-2013 academic year will be her first year as Vice Principal. She has taught second grade, third grade, and fifth grade. Ms. Curry graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006, with her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development/Abnormal Psychology. She completed the Teacher’s Alternative Certification program at Mountain View College in 2006. Ms. Curry holds an ESL certification and is certified to teach EC-4. She will begin to earn her Master’s Degree in Administration as well as her Principal’s Certification. She has a passion to help children achieve their full potential, and loves her job with Trinity Basin Preparatory.
